Manage Classes & Sessions
Individual class sessions are the building blocks of schedules in the platform. Here is how to find, track, and manage them.
1. Where Classes are Located
Admin Portal → Sidebar: Academy → Sessions
Classes are visible across different portal views depending on your task:
- Global Sessions Page: In the left sidebar under Academy, click Sessions to view and filter all master classes by subject, tutor, date, or status.
- Scheduling Iris Engine: Click Academy → Iris Engine to view the visual horizontal timeline. Spot double-bookings and view tutor availability in real time.
- Student & Tutor Profiles: View user-specific schedules inside the Schedule Tab of individual student or tutor profiles.
2. Course Groups & Class Session Cards
Global Sessions View
The system groups schedules visually into main courses and individual class sessions:
- Course Group Cards: Summarizes overall course details (Subject, Tutor, completed vs total sessions count).
- Class Session Cards: Represents a single class slot on a specific date with start time and status buttons (Mark Complete, Rearrange, Cancel).
3. Class Statuses & Actions
Daily Operations Lifecycle
Class session statuses dictate billing and tutor payouts:
- Scheduled: Upcoming classes that hold calendar slots for tutor and student.
- Completed: Marked complete by tutor or admin. Locks class logs and calculates tutor pay.
- Cancelled: Releases calendar slot without counting toward student package totals.
